“My look is something I picked up from my father,” he told Latina at his June/July 2011 cover shoot. “My father was always dressed sharp. He’d say, ‘Oye esta cuqui.’ "Cuqui" is like ‘wow.’ My look is like a 1980s manibero. Manibero’s are the guys who are in the street involved in extracurricular activities, but always dressed sharp.”
