20 Latino Guys We Want to Be With If the World Ends!

The end of the world is near, at least according to the ancient Mayans. Friday December 21, 2012, just happens to be the final day on the Mayan calendar prompting myths that this might just be it, the apocalypse, the end of civilization as we know it.

While many are not entirely convinced of the prediction’s validity, people have begun to write out lists containing what they might like their final actions on earth to be as well as who they would like to spend their final moments with. If these people are anything like us, their lists likely landed on some amazing Latino men. See who made our list of the top 20 Latino men we'd like to spend the end of the world with...just in case!

1. End of the World Men: William Levy

William Levy

If it really is the end of the world, we hope Cuban hunk William Levy will take a break from promoting his newest role in the telenovela La tempestad to spend some time with us! We’re pretty sure he would come in handy if any manly work needed to be done like lifting debris or building a fire and, with it being the end and all, surely he’d concede to taking off his shirt as he labors. It would grant our final wish!

2. End of the World Men: Ryan Guzman

Ryan Guzman

Who wouldn’t want gorgeous actor Ryan Guzman by their side during a time of crisis? Stare into his eyes, lay your head on his washboard abs, or ask him to perform a dance number from this past year’s hit movie Step Up Revolution, and you’re sure to feel at ease.

3. End of the World Men: Wilmer Valderrama

Wilmer Valderrama

Wilmer Valderrama has done it all from drama to reality television to music, but if it is the end of the world we’re going to need someone to keep us rolling in laughter. Spending some quality time with this Venezuelan and Colombian comedic genius guarantees we’ll have smiles no end of the world scare can wipe away!

4. End of the World Men: Diego Boneta

Diego Boneta

One of this year’s break-out stars, Diego Boneta, might play Miles on MTV’s Underemployed, but we’d hire him to hang out with us during the end of the world. The Mexican actor is just getting started after landing the lead role in last summer’s Rock of Ages as well as a part in the upcoming thriller In the Blood. We sure hope it is not the end, because we’re looking forward to seeing a lot more from this 22-year-old!

5. End of the World Men: Eddie Cibrian

Eddie Cibrian

We’d allow Eddie Cibrian’s ex to aim dramatic tweets at us if it meant spending a little one-on-one time with the actor before the end of the world. Though his life seems to have recently become consumed by a Twitter war between his current wife, LeAnn Rimes, and ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, he has also kept busy on the set of the television show Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse.

6. End of the World Men: Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars

Even though we’ll probably have to settle for his recently released album, Unorthodox Jukebox, instead, we wonder what we’d do if we had Bruno Mars to keep us company. There would be nothing like listening to the classy singer croon songs at our request. Everyone who saw him host Saturday Night Live back in October knows he can perfectly belt out any tune. Of course we’d have him sing some of his newest hits like “Locked Out of Heaven” and “When I Was Your Man”.

7. End of the World Men: Adam Rodriguez

Adam Rodriguez

Actor Adam Rodriguez made himself a household name on CSI: Maiami playing Detective Eric Delko for 10 seasons. It would be nice to have a detective around in case things get a little crazy during earth’s final hours, even if he only played one on television. Plus, now that we know how guapo he looks in a thong thanks to stripper movie Magic Mike, we’re sure we could find something to do if there are no crimes to solve!

8. End of the World Men: Enrique Iglesias

Enrique Iglesias

This year Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias released single “Finally Found You”, was featured in “Tchu Tchu Tchu” by Pitbull and has kept busy in the studio. Though he’s used to mega-stars like Jennifer Lopez, who he toured with this summer, we’d love it if he’d pass time waiting for the end of the world serenading us, in both Spanish and English!

9. End of the World Men: Mario Lopez

Mario Lopez

Mario Lopez and wife Courtney Mazza tied the knot this month so she probably isn’t willing to share her man just yet, but we think he’d make the perfect host for the end of the world. He can currently be found as a host for Extra, America’s Best Dance Crew and The X Factor, so it only make sense that his winning smile and signature dimples narrate this experience for us as well!

10. End of the World Men: Victor Cruz

Victor Cruz

If learning to salsa dance is on your list of things to do before you die, wide receiver Victor Cruz of the New York Giants can probably help you cross that off of your bucket list just in time. Though it was his celebratory touchdown dancing that first grabbed the attention of fans, it is the part-Puerto Rican’s massive heart that has most recently been highlighted in the headlines. When Cruz heard that one of his biggest fans, 6-year-old Jack Pinto, was a victim of the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, he donned cleats and a jersey in memory of the youngster. This sounds like the kind of guy worth knowing.

11. End of the World Men: Michael Trevino

Michael Trevino

Michael Trevino knows a thing or two about supernatural phenomenon, which makes him the perfect man to have on our team if the Mayan myth turns out to be true. The Mexican-American actor plays werewolf Tyler Lockwood on The CW’s immensely popular Vampire Diaries.

12. End of the World Men: Pitbull

Pitbull

However far into the future it may, or may not, be, when the end of the world comes everyone is going to want to do one thing: party. No one knows how to get a party started quite like Pitbull! We’ll have the Cuban bring his newest album, Global Warming, and invite everyone to go crazy “On the Floor”.

13. End of the World Men: Santiago Cabrera

Santiago Cabrera

Fans may remember Chilean actor Santiago Cabrera from his role as Isaac Mendez on the NBC break-out hit Heroes. Faithful viewers will remember that Cabrera’s character had an important ability that would definitely be useful in predicting whether or not the Mayans had the right idea. He could paint the future.

14. End of the World Men: Demian Bichir

Demián Bichir

Mexican actor Demián Bichir has been a man on the move recently from 2010’s Hidalgo: La historia jamás contada to his critically acclaimed role in 2011’s A Better Life, to his part as Alex in this year’s Savages. Forget the end of the world; we’re looking forward to the future at what amazing things Bichir will continue to do with his career.

15. End of the World Men: Mark Consuelos

Mark Consuelos

Think there’s the possibility the apocalypse could get a wee bit frightening? As super dad part-Mexican Mark Consuelos probably has some winning tales and tricks up his sleeve that he uses to scare away monsters under the bed that we bet he’d use to soothe us. As long as he doesn’t come dressed as Spivey, the creepy character he played during his recent stint on American Horror Story, all will be well.

16. End of the World Men: JenCarlos Canela

JenCarlos Canela

Cuban singer and actor JenCarlos Canela has been busy this year preparing for his leading role in Telemundo’s new telenovela Pasión Prohibida, taking care of son Nickolas and continuing to promote his music career. Why is Canela an obvious choice for our list? There is no end of the world fantasy without a hunky heartthrob to star as the leading man!

17. End of the World Men: Aaron Diaz

Aaron Diaz

Mexican actor, singer and model Aaron Diaz is well known for his many roles on multiple telenovelas like Teresa and El Talismán. His versatility in playing both the hero and the villain, coupled with his charming good looks, make him the kind of man we want near us during the end of the world.

18. End of the World Men: Bobby Cannavale

Bobby Cannavale

Gifted actor Bobby Cannavale can currently be found on HBO’s award winning series Boardwalk Empire. The part-Cuban plays a merciless gangster during the time of the prohibition. We might need Cannavale’s practice in underhanded dealings if an apocalyptic black market were to arise!

19. End of the World Men: Laz Alonso

Laz Alonso

Afro-Cuban actor Laz Alonso will return to television in January of 2013 as Detective Will Moreno on NBC’s newest drama Deception. Alonso is best known for his role as Tsu’tey in the blockbuster hit Avatar. Maybe before the end of the world Alonso can show us how that whole avatar thing really works, it just might come in handy.

20. End of the World Men: Mark Sanchez

Mark Sanchez

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez may have taken a bit of heat on the field recently, but we still have nothing but love for the hottest quarterback in the NFL. Now that he’s no longer attached to Eva Longoria, this athletic looker can mosey on over to our corner and keep cozy with us so he doesn’t get lonely awaiting the end of the world.
