The 19-year-old former Wizards of Waverly Place alum is using her growing worldwide recognition to give back. Along with serving as UNICEF’s youngest ever Goodwill Ambassador, Selena Gomez has worked with the ENOUGH Project to shine a light on the difficulties that Congolese citizens are struggling with due to war, poverty and conflict minerals.  But that’s not all… She’s partnered with Kermit the Frog to raise awareness of endangered amphibians, worked with the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, and helped smaller charities like Island Dogs which helps save Puerto Rican dogs. It’s no wonder she’s such a great role model for kids throughout the world!
