From visiting foreign lands in the hopes of raising awareness about the plights of others to lending their beautiful voices to help raise money for those less fortunate, today’s young Latino stars are making an enormous (and meaningful) difference in the world. They're also proving that you're never too young to change the world. Here, we present 13 Latino celeb do-gooders we love!
Bella Thorne, 14
She may have won a “Young Artist Award” for her role in My Own Worst Enemy, but 14-year-old Bella Thorne could win a Young Philanthropist Award. That’s because the actress/model, best known for playing aspiring young dancer CeCe Jones on the Disney Channel’s Shake It Up!, has supported Friends of El Faro, an organization dedicated to helping the children of Tijuana, Mexico’s Casa Hogar Sion orphanage. She’s also worked closely with the TJ Martell Foundation, which funds innovative medical research to find cures and treatments for leukemia, cancer and AIDS, and DoSomething.org. And, she even helped STOMP Out Bullying commemorate National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month last October.
