Executive producer Selena Gomez shared some pics from the party on social and thanked both her team and the show’s committed audience for seeing that there would be a second season.

"And this year wraps up with another committed journey with @13reasonswhy -Season 2 is coming. To every person on this project, thank you for coming back. Good or bad we are committed to having the tough conversations, to telling the story that can start change."

The "Wolves" singer also congratulated Langford, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series—Drama award, posting, "ND to this gorgeous, kind hearted lady. You endured this character with such strength and softness. @katherinelangford I am so proud you are being acknowledged for doing just that! GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINEE!!! Ladies are shining!"

For her part, the Australian actress posted a note of gratitude for the accolade saying, "I'm so honoured to be included alongside such an illustrious group of women and couldn't think of a more talented and committed group of creatives, producers, cast and crew to share in this excitement with this morning! I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to tell Hannah's story, and I hope that this recognition can further shine a light on the life issues and struggles that we cover in the show.

Gomez, who was originally set to play the show’s lead character, has been a steadfast supporter of continuing the national conversation about depression and suicide despite how uncomfortable it may make some people.

While there’s no release date for Season 2 just yet, the cast just finished wrapping so we hope we don’t have to wait too long! Maybe next year they’ll have a best show nom too.
