"12 Years of J.Lo" is trending on Twitter in celebration of Jennifer Lopez's 12th anniversary since dropping her hit album, JLo. Besides spawning hits like, "I'm Real" and "Love Don't Cost a Thing," her sophomore compilation garnered Lopez's famous nickname, which still stands strong. In honor of the pop diva, we are counting down 12 things La Lopez did before anyone else!
First To Be "Fly"
We all know J.Lo is fly — but the gorgeous Puerto Rican superstar officially became a fly girl in 1991 when she joined the cast of the FOX sketch comedy series In Living Color as a dancer. Rosie Perez was already working as a choreographer on the show, but it was Lopez who was the show's first Latina fly girl.
