Thank you for joining me another week to read my blog, where I share with you all my tips on how to be a fabulous modern day Latina from the inside out. I like to touch on it all… from relationships, hot topics, fashion, health, spirituality, career and anything in between.

It takes a lot of things to be fabulous and one of those things is being surrounded by a great circle of people. Many of us have heard that the key to success is how hard we work and to a certain extent that is TRUE, but something else that is very important is the company you keep around you.

For eight seasons, Eva Longoria played the sneaky, funny and usually ditzy, Gabrielle Solis on ABC’s hit dramedy, Desperate Housewives. But in real life, Eva is no dummy. When she’s not busy performing as an actress or pounding the pavement as an activist, Eva is hitting the books hard. The Hollywood star just completed her post-graduate studies, earning a degree in Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge. The native Texan also received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology at A&M University-Kingsville. Smart mujer!

We all feel good when we shed unwanted pounds, don’t we? The same goes for some of our fave celebs.

The latest star to reveal a slimmer figure is Christina Aguilera, who revealed a slimmer silhouette at this past weekend’s Billboard Music Awards. Aguilera’s transformation reminds us of other celebs whose weight loss has made us take a second, third, even fourth glance. Check out our list of Latin celebs wo have shed some serious weight:

The 32-year-old singer's much slimmer figure at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards created tons of buzz on Twitter. Aguilera is so stranger to harsh criticism about her weight, which has fluctuated throughout the years. In Marie Claire’s February 2012 cover issue, Aguilera said “I've been criticized for being on both sides of the scale” and added that she happened to be “very comfortable” in her own skin. The singer of Ecuadorian descent also told PEOPLE in 2012 that “as long as I am happy in my own skin, that is all that is all the confirmation I need." We love it.

The X Factor will soon welcome Paulina Rubio as one if its judges! Simon Cowell is bringing on both the Mexican pop star and former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland to his judges table, FOX announced on Monday.

The 41-year-old Chica Dorada has already served as a coach on La Voz Kids and will now be joining The X Factor as a judge. She has been in the Latin music limelight for decades, and recently expressed her excitement over being selected to join the judging table on Simon Cowell’s show. "I can't wait to find the next big music star here in America. I'm so thrilled to be part of the show as a judge,” she said. “Simon, be careful what you wish for, let's see if you are ready to handle me, empieza la fiesta, amigo! [start the party, friend!]."
