Today, millions of people are mourning the death of the queen of pop. Yesterday’s untimely death of legendary Whitney Houston at age 48 sent shockwaves through the music industry. Since the icon’s passing, social media sites have erupted with fans and colleagues of Houston’s expressing their condolences and love. Houston’s close friend Mariah Carey, who collaborated with the R&B superstar on the song "When You Believe," was just one of many who took to the internet tweeting, “Heartbroken and in tears over the shocking death of my friend, the incomparable Ms. Whitney Houston.” Carey later tweeted, “She will never be forgotten as one of the greatest voices to ever grace the earth.” Read on to see what other Latinos tweeted about the loss of one of the greatest vocalists of our time and their promises to always love Whitney.
