She may take beatings at the box office, by critics and even here on our message boards, but Jessica Alba still has tons of fans in the pre-teen category. The actress and expectant mom won the Favorite Movie Actress award at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards this weekend. The winners were determined by 88 million votes on Nickelodeon's website.

"They were sitting very close," a spy told the New York Post, "and she was looking at him like he was her favorite guy in the world."

Young People Attacked in Mexico, Chile for Listening to Emo Rock

Kids in Mexico and Chile might want to think twice before putting Evanescence and Jimmy Eat World onto their iPods. In the most ludicrous news story we've heard in a while, LA Weekly is reporting that lovers of "emo" rock (called PokEMOns in Chile) are being attacked in the streets of those two countries by more hard-core music fans, such as those into metal, punk and rockabilly.
