Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling
Although there have been rumors that Mendes and Gosling have headed to splitsville, we hope the cute couple are still together! They were first spotted together back in September of last year. Since then, they celebrated New Year’s weekend together, spent time with Gosling’s mother Donna, and shared a romantic trip to Paris. Word has it that the pair were recently in Thailand together. Don't expect the Cuban actress to spill on the details of her new romance. When asked about her love connection with her co-star Mendes declared, "Stop, just stop…I'm not gonna budge. I feel uncomfortable talking about it. It's too personal."
Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony:
The former Boricua power couple may have split up, but the show must go on for their co-production ¡Q'Viva! The Chosen on Univision. The hit show features Lopez and Anthony traveling throughout Latin America in search of new talent and (sometimes) bumping heads along the way. Despite their personal differences, the salsa singer and pop diva are pros at working with each other. In 1999, J.Lo was featured in Anthony’s hit song “No Me Ames.” Word has it that the two formed a connection after filming the music video. J.Lo and Anthony also co-starred in the 2006 bio flick El Cantante, which depicts the tragic story of salsa legend Héctor Lavoe. There’s no doubt that audiences love a dose of these two!
JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Nick Swisher
The half-Cuban actress met the Yankee player back in 2009. During their relationship, Swisher took a break from the field to guest star on Garcia’s sitcom Better With You. The Swishers were hitched in 2010.
Gloria and Emilio Estefan
The Queen of Latin Pop and famed music producer are one of our favorite couples of all time! The “Everlasting Love” singer first met the love of her life in high school as the bandleader of the 1970’s hit group Miami Sound Machine. The group produced many electrifying hits including “The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You” and “Dr. Beat.” After launching her solo career, the Cuban lovebirds continued working together on chart-topping albums like, “Destiny” and “Mi Tierra.” The couple married in 1978 and has a son, Nayib, and a daughter, Emily Marie.
Gaby Espino and JenCarlos Canela
The parents-to-be started their picture-perfect romance as co-stars on the 2009 hit telenovela Más Sabe el Diablo (The Devil Knows Best). Word has it that the couple allegedly started dating while Espino was still married to ex-husband Cristóbal Lander. The former couple has a daughter named Oriana Lander together. Espino and Canela, who is 10 years her junior are expecting their first son Nicolás in the next coming weeks. Congrats to the lovely couple! Can they be more picture perfect?
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.
Who knew love could spring while filming a bloody horror movie? The part-Puerto Rican actor and the Jewish actress met while filming the 1998 flick, I Know What You Did Last Summer. They started dating two years later and were married in 2002. They have a 2-year-old daughter named Charlotte Grace.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos
In 1995, Ripa and Consuelos first met as co-stars on the set of All My Children. The couple eloped just a year after meeting. They have three children named Michael, 14, Lola, 10, and Joaquin, 8. During an interview with Oprah, Consuelos confessed, "Sometimes we're at hotels, and I'll answer the phone. They'll say, 'Mr. Ripa, your breakfast is coming upstairs.' And I'm like, 'Is my father-in-law here?’ But, obviously, I'm proud either way—Ripa or Consuelos." We hope so!
Zoe Saldaña and Bradley Cooper
They haven’t announced their relationship to the rest of the world, but Saldaña and Cooper sure act like they are official! The half-Puerto Rican and Dominican actress was engaged to her longtime boyfriend of 11 years, Keith Britton and broke things off last November. Since then, she has been spotted with the Hollywood hunk and co-star of her new movie The Words. Not a bad rebound if you ask us!
Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem
The Vicky Cristina Barcelona co-stars started dating back in 2007. They played a twisted and dysfunction couple onset, but in real life things were heating up fast! Cruz won an Oscar for “Best Supporting Actress” for the Woody Allen flick, while Bardem won the Oscar for “Best Supporting Actor” for his role in Cormac McCarthy’s 2007 adaptation, No Country for Old Men. The Spanish lovebirds tied the knot back in 2010 and have a son named Leo.
Celia Cruz and Pedro Knight
The Queen of Salsa first met the love of her life when she was hired as a back-up singer for the Cuban group Sonora Matancera. During the 1960s, the group fled from Fidel Castro’s regime and moved to Miami, Florida. Knight served as the group’s trumpeter while Cruz belted out her signature verses, which quickly stole the spotlight and led to a legendary solo career. The soul mates got married in 1962 and parted ways after Cruz’s battle with cancer ended in 2003. Knight later passed away in 2007. Their love will live on in our hearts.
Berenice Bejo and Michel Hazanavicius
The Argentinean actress and the French director are a match made in Hollywood history! Before the hit black-and-white film The Artist, Bejo starred in a couple of Hazanavicius productions including, OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies and the sequel OSS 117 - Lost in Rio. The couple has two children together. We wonder what they will work on next!
