Fidel by Néstor Kohan with Nahuel Scherma (Siete Cuentos Editorial, $13.95, July 2010)
Brazilian author Néstor Kohan couples his words with Scherma’s artistic skills to create an illustrated biography on Cuban leader, Fidel Castro. The duo tells the revolutionary leader’s story, as seen by Latin Americans; not only focusing on his struggle to maintain power, but highlighting defining points in history from the Bay of Pigs to the end of Apartheid.
