Outlander and An Echo in the Bone
If you haven’t read Mexican American author Diana Gabaldon’s wildly popular Outlander series, this summer is a good time to start: A 20th anniversary edition of her first book of the series, Outlander, comes out July 5. It begins the epic but accessible and charming story of a woman who gets accidentally transported to 1700’s Scotland, leaving her modern-day husband behind and launching her on adventures. Gabaldon’s latest book in the seven-book series, An Echo in the Bone, came out in beach bag-ready paperback May 24.
