The 14th annual Premios Juventud did not disappoint! The theme for this years show was “Apostando por el Futuro” (Betting on the Future) a theme that celebrates and brings together artists and fans to promote positive change.
J Balvin, Marc Anthony, Ozuna, Calibre 50 and Maluma were among the many talented Latin artists to perform yesterday. DNCE and Iggy Azalea also performed their most recent hits, marking their first performances on a Latin award show. Shakira, along with Coldplay, performed together for the first time, via satellite, from the Global Citizen Festival in Hamburg Germany.
Orange is the New Black Star Diane Guerrero, Alejandra Espinoza, Chachi Gonzales, Karol G and Shannon de Lima heated up Miami as they sizzled down the red carpet. Univision’s Latin youth awards show was held in Miami’s Watsco center, where it has been held for the past 14 years. This year, the show focused more on music, removing previous categories in movies, telenovelas and sports.
