The 2013 Golden Globe nominations were announced earlier this morning.

Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, and Ed Helms helped announce the nominees, which included favorites like Les Miserables and Argo. Both films received multiple nominations, including "Best Motion Picture" in their categories. Other big contenders included the period piece Lincoln and Django Unchained

One missing honoree in the "Best Supporting Actor" category was Javier Bardem for his villain role as Raoul Silva in the James Bond adventure Skyfall. The Oscar-winner received Golden Globe buzz for his on-point delivery - especially after earning a Critics' Choice nomination. The nominees in this category included Tommy Lee Jones (Lincoln), Alan Arkin (Argo), and Leonardo DiCaprio (Django Unchained).

However, Sofia Vergara's ABC hit Modern Family was nominated for "Best Television Musical or Comedy" along with Girls, Smash, The Big Bang Theory, and Episodes. The Colombian actress also nabbed the "Best Supporting Actress" nomination.

The 70th Golden Globes ceremony will be held on Sunday, January. 13. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will co-host the event. Will you be watching?
