Anyone that's celebrating their 30 year anniversary in business has to be doing something right. And that person is leading fashion and fur designer, Dennis Basso, who presented his F/W '13 collection. The collection was inspired by iconic American women in fashion who had a strong sense of style.

With lady-like silhouettes, there was a fun play on plaid incorporating the print in unexpected treatments like metallic plaid on tweed and plaid sequins on chiffon, which took the prints from vintage to cutting edge. The cuts of the dresses complemented the body with style like pleats, long trains and fitted bodices.

But, what he is notorious for, with good reason, are his fur designs that always look sophisticated and luxurious. This time around he added a modern flair, mixing fur with leather and incorporating a bold color palette that ranged from rich greys and blues to statement greens and chartreuse that electrified the runway.
