Demi Lovato has announced her tour dates! Before her announcement, the 19-year-old part-Mexicana teased her more than 4 million followers last Thursday via Twitter. “What a beeaauuutiful day. Guess what... I have an announcement to make VERY soon....!!!! :D” she began. “What if I were to tell you I will be telling you guys as soon as TOMORROW?!!”
Lovato kept her word. Last Friday, the teenage actress/singer released her tour dates, including a link to Ticketmaster.com where fans can purchase tickets. “This is it!!! Hope to see everyone soon on tour!!!:D” she tweeted. The tour begins Nov. 16 in Detroit, Michigan and will end Dec. 3 in Chicago, Illinois. Other cities Lovato will visit are Hershey, Pennsylvania, Houston, Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana.
According to Zap2it, this concert marks Lovato’s first since dropping out of the Jonas Brothers tour last year to seek treatment in rehab. The star, who has a long history with eating disorders and emotional issues, spent several months in a rehab center and was released this past spring.
We can tell Lovato is enthused about her tour. The same day, she expressed her feelings. “I LOVE my fans... I cannot wait to see you guys on the road.. :)” she wrote.
