Jessica Marie Alba is a television and film actress. At 13, she made her first appearances in 1994 in the movie Camp Nowhere and TV series The Secret World of Alex Mack. She became a household name while playing the lead role in the television series Dark Angel (2000-2002). Alba was born in Pomona, Calif., to a Danish–and–French Canadian mother and a Mexican American father. She has appeared in various films, including Honey (2003), Sin City (2005), Fantastic Four (2005), Into the Blue (2005), and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Good Luck Chuck in 2007.
