Jessica Marie Alba is a television and film actress. At 13, she made her first appearances in 1994 in the movie Camp Nowhere and TV series The Secret World of Alex Mack. She became a household name while playing the lead role in the television series Dark Angel (2000-2002). Alba was born in Pomona, Calif., to a Danish–and–French Canadian mother and a Mexican American father. She has appeared in various films, including Honey (2003), Sin City (2005), Fantastic Four (2005), Into the Blue (2005), and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Good Luck Chuck in 2007.
Jessica Alba recently signed on for The One campaign's PSA to bring awareness to the masses about the recent drought and famine in Africa that has killed at least 30 thousand children over the last three months.
