Jennifer Lopez burst onto the Hollywood scene as a Fly Girl on the hit Fox comedy sketch show In Living Color, and gained recognition starring opposite Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes in the 1995 film Money Train—but it was her starring role in Selena (1997) that catapulted her to superstardom, making her the first Latina actress to earn $1 million for a movie role. Born and raised in the Bronx to Puerto Rican parents, Lopez has dominated the worlds of fashion, music, movies and fragrances for more than 10 years. She has her own production company, Nuyorican Productions, and has been ranked by Forbes as the most powerful Latina in Hollywood. Lopez has five platinum-selling albums, and is currently a judge on American Idol, alongside Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler.

Amidst rumors that Jennifer Lopez had been dumped by her longtime music label Sony/Epic and as a result her new album, Love?, may never be released, La Lopez decided to make an official statement to clear the air:

Apparently, Sony Epic music wasn't fooled by the rocks that Jenny got. Jennifer Lopez has been reportedly dropped by her label after releasing two singles off of her new album, titled Love?, which was originally scheduled to drop in April of this year. Now, inside sources say that they aren't sure when the album will be released.

Jennifer Lopez dazzled the crowd in Italy over the weekend when she performed at the Sanremo music festival. She started off singing a medley of her greatest hits including "Jenny from the Block," "Waiting for Tonight," "Love Don't Cost a Thing," "Get Right" and "Lets Get Loud."
