Jennifer Lopez burst onto the Hollywood scene as a Fly Girl on the hit Fox comedy sketch show In Living Color, and gained recognition starring opposite Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes in the 1995 film Money Train—but it was her starring role in Selena (1997) that catapulted her to superstardom, making her the first Latina actress to earn $1 million for a movie role. Born and raised in the Bronx to Puerto Rican parents, Lopez has dominated the worlds of fashion, music, movies and fragrances for more than 10 years.
