In her book, The Body Book, Diaz came out strongly against the practice of completely removing one's pubic hair.
“I hear that there's a big fad these days of young women undergoing laser hair removal on all of their lady bits," Diaz wrote. "I know you may think you’ll be wearing the same style of shoes forever and the same style of jeans forever, but you won’t. The idea that vaginas are preferable in a hairless state is a pretty recent phenomenon and all fads change, people.”
But now, the Cuban American actress has decided to clear up her stance a bit.
"I would like to clear up what I said," Diaz said during an appearance on the The Graham Norton Show, according to E! News. "I don't care what women do with it, but we should be informed about how our bodies work."
"It [pubic hair] is there for a reason and to laser it off is to lose it forever!"
Diaz still feels it's important to consider keeping our vaginas "fully dressed" and added a bit of food for thought for all women.
"It will never come back," she declared, "and I think women should consider what forever means."
