7 Craziest World Cup Hairstyles

The World Cup can get pretty ugly: there's the biting, the diving, and of course, the hair cutting. Many of the world's best players -- including Neymar Jr. and Cristiano Ronaldo -- opted to chop off their locks in preparation for the big tournament. And, let's just say, their hair decisions are questionable.

The good, the bad, and the just plain ugly: these are the most distinguishable haircuts of the 2014 World Cup.

1. Neymar Jr.

Ok, we get it, Neymar. You're a flashy guy. But these platinum blonde highlights? No. Just no. 

2. Arturo Vidal

We think Chilean footballer Arturo Vidal went a little overboard on his World Cup 'do. 

3. Sergio Aguero

Argentina's Sergio Aguero rocks a fauxhawk with racing stripes.  

4. Cristiano Ronaldo

We think Cristiano Ronaldo's bizarre zig-zag 'do is supposed to be a 7 -- in honor of his jersey number. It definitely looks more like Zorro's trademark slash. 

5. Miguel Veloso

Portuguese midfielder Miguel Veloso likes his hair long on top and short on the sides for a look that's reminiscent of a porcupine. 

6. Iker Casillas

Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas needs to learn that it's never a good idea to disguise your receding hairline with bangs. 

7. Guillermo Ochoa

Mexico's celebrated goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa keeps his floppy curls in check with a fashionable headband.
