Selena Gomez Bailed Early on Treatment

Six week treatment program? No thanks, said Selena Gomez!

According to TMZ, Gomez ignored advice from medical professionals and left her program after only two weeks so she could attend the Sundance Film Festival.

Gomez had checked into The Meadows' six-week DAWN program, just after New Year's, to deal with addictions to alcohol, pot, prescription Ambien and "what her people believe is an unhealthy union with Justin Bieber."

The 21-year-old star told her people that she did complete the toughest week of the program -- Survivor's Week, which deals with "early childhood trauma and uncovers the origins of adult dysfunctional behaviors." -- and that she's fine now.

But staff at The Meadows feel differently and say that completing the entire 45-day program is essential for full recovery.

We hope Selena really is fine, but if not, please head back to treatment! We love you!
