Linda Perry and Sara Gilbert are now married!
The pair, who began dating in 2011, announced their engagement last April after Perry, 48, popped the question at a music-themed picnic.
The Brazilian songwriter proposed to Gilbert, 39, while "Love Song" by the Cure played overhead. She then pulled out four t-shirts that said "Will" "You" "Marry" "Me?" on them. So romantic!
Gilbert, who serves as a co-host on The Talk, shared the news of her engagement on the program at the time. "I happened to be talking about gay marriage, and I thank you all for your support on that issue. That was before I had any idea about any of this. I'm sure shy, and don't usually want to tell anything. But I wanted you guys to know, because I feel like you're a part of our family here."
According to People, on Monday, her fellow hosts on The Talk shared the happy news of her nupitals. "It was an amazing, amazing night," Aisha Tyler told the audience. "It was beautiful and it was at sunset and just overlooking the ocean." Gilbert was not on the show, as she was celebrating her honeymoon with her new wife!
Wow -- we're so happy for this lovely couple! May they experience many, many years of happiness and love.
