Diego Luna Gets Rude Awakening When Asking Pedestrians About Cesar Chavez

Can you say....awkward?

Diego Luna ventured onto the streets of Austin, Texas to ask festival-goers at SXSW about civil rights activist Cesar Chavez. The question was simple: "Do you know who Cesar Chavez is?"

Unfortunately, most of the people he asked didn’t recognize Chavez’s name... and many didn’t even recognize Luna’s famous face! 

In fact, Luna could barely get anyone to stop and answer his questions. The Mexican actor-turned-director is currently promoting his new film Cesar Chavez, which is based on the life of the Mexican-America labor leader's activism and legacy.
