Carlos Santana Says It Was a Perfect Time to Record An Album in Spanish

On May 6, Carlos Santana will release his first ever Spanish-language album!

After being established in the music industry for over 40 years, many fans thought "finally."

During HBO Latino's De Corazón event in NYC last week, Santana revealed what made him decide to do an album in Spanish after all these years.

"I was being obedient with God. When God says green light, you go fast. " he told us. "It’s a good time. Latinos....we have arrived. It's our time.”

The legenday Mexican-American guitarist's album, Corazón, features collaborations with everyone from Romeo Santos to Gloria Estefan.
