Did you miss last night's Super Bowl XLVII?
We'll give you the cliffnotes version: The Seattle Seahawks completely destroyed Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, scoring a safety on the first play of the game and eventually beating the Colorado team 43-8. Coca-Cola made everyone cry (and a few people grumble) with a wonderful, multi-cultural "America The Beautiful" commercial. And, most importantly, Bruno Mars impressed crowds with his shimmery gold jacket, incredible dance moves, and spot-on vocals.
The Puerto Rican's 12-minute Super Bowl halftime performance had a distinct motown 60s feeling, which was accentuated by Mars' crazy footwork and the addition of iconic rock band The Red Hot Chili Peppers. The crooner wowed audiences with his upbeat renditions of "Locked Out of Heaven", "Treasure", and more.
Best of all, just before launching into his sweet love song "Just The Way You Are", the 28-year-old singer paid patriotic tribute to our American Armed Forces. He played a touching, tissue-worthy video of deployed soldiers dedicating the song to their loved ones.
