5 Things I Learned About Ricky Martin at His Moon Palace Concert This Weekend

This weekend, I had the excruciatingly hard work task of visiting Cancun to interview Ricky Martin before his live concert at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort. I've interviewed many celebrities throughout my career as a journalist, and there's always something that surprises you about each and every one of them.

Dimelo: "I'm Not Sure I Can Handle My Boyfriend's Hidden Past. Should I Leave Him?"

Dear Pauline,

Today I found out that my boyfriend of one year has had a lot of sexual partners (I had an idea of how many, but not THAT many!). I also found out that he has done illicit drugs, which he’s admitted to doing twice in the time we have been together. I just don't know what to do. I really do love him but should I leave him?

Dimelo: "Is My Boyfriend’s Mom Trying to Kill Me with Her Food?"

Dear Pauline,

I've come to the conclusion that my new boyfriend's mother hates me. He's invited me over for dinner on multiple occasions, and each time she has served me a meal made with nuts, to which I'm deathly allergic. She knows about my allergy—my boyfriend has reminded her time and again. On Thanksgiving, she once again extended an invitation to her home and my boyfriend practically begged me to come. I agreed, even stopping at the florist for a hostess gift.

Becky G: "My Favorite Holiday Memory!"

This year I will be spending the holidays at my home. All of my mom’s side of family and all of my dad’s side of family are coming over. We’re going to have dinner on Christmas Eve and going to my aunt’s house for New Year's Eve. We usually stay up and open (holiday) presents at midnight. I love it!

Dimelo: "I'm Tired of Hiding That I'm Latina"

Dear Pauline,

I am a white and Puerto Rican woman living in southern Texas. Depending on how I dress, or do my make up or hair, I can appear to be either heritage. The problem? I am afraid, almost ashamed, to show my Latina side. I used to be so proud, letting everyone know that I was both white and Latina. But now I'm scared to identify with my Puerto Rican side because of negative attention.
