I can’t wait to see the new CW show, Life UneXpected. Can you tell me if it is any good? And do you have any spoilers to share?
-Laura
I got a chance to see the pilot over the weekend and it’s better than good—it’s great! It’s the touching story of an orphaned young girl who reunites with her birth parents 16 years later. it’s a bit of a tearjerker! Kerr Smith (Dawson’s Creek) is fantastic; Kristoffer Polaha is charming, funny, and immensely likeable, and Shiri Appleby (Roswell) gives what I think will be the best performance of her career! It’s a must-see. As for spoilers, all I can tell you is that Shiri’s character Cate Cassidy isn’t as perfect and sweet as she seems. She has many flaws (especially where her relationship is concerned) and you’ll see them come out in the pilot when she betrays the trust of someone she loves. Life UneXpected doesn’t premier until Jan. 18, but you can check out an extended trailer for the show here:
Is it true that Dixon is getting a new cougar love interest on 90210 and that this one is even older than Sasha?
-Debbie
I’ve heard that rumor too, Debbie. But a funny thing happened last week when I asked Tristan Wilds, the actor who plays Dixon, that very question. He didn’t know what I was talking about: “I haven’t heard that yet," he stated. "But that would be great!” My guess is if Tristan hasn’t heard about it, then we’ll never hear about it again!
Annie and Dixon have been fighting nonstop this season on 90210. Please tell me they’re going to make up soon?
-Cathy
I wish I could, Cathy. I wish I could. Tristan tells me that we can expect to see Dixon and Annie’s relationship “get shakier and shakier” in the next few episodes. In fact, he predicts trouble ahead for the whole Wilson clan: “There are going to be a lot of ups and downs within the family," he said. "It’s going to be a rollercoaster. So just watch and see!”
Will Dixon and Silver get back together on 90210? -Cori
I’m hearing no—at least not anytime soon. Silver (Jessica Stroup) is going to be busy with a new love interest, tennis protégé Teddy Montgomery (Special Guest Star Trevor Donovan), which is going to make Dixon pretty freaking jealous. I asked Tristan which 90210 girl (other than Silver) he’d like to makeout with on the show, and his answer made me laugh: “Our girls are beautiful, so I couldn’t choose. It’s crazy because all of us coming together last year, with everything that we went through last year, it feels like we are all family. So when we kiss, it feels a little weird. I don’t know who I would want to kiss. All of our girls—it feels like they’re the friends in high school that you don’t kiss—the ones that are off limits.”
I want to know what’s coming up on the new season of Lost! I just finished season 5 and I am addicted. Any new character additions to the island?
-Lauren
As a matter of fact, yes! Season 6 will welcome several new faces, including four Latino characters who will appear in the ninth episode of the season. The newbie’s include a loving wife and devout Catholic in her 30’s named Isabella; a religious man named Ignacio who turns to crime, a stern Catholic priest named Father Suarez and a wealthy Latino doctor. The Latin characters have not yet been cast, but check out our choices for the roles! Season 6 will also welcome a “striking beauty” named Selena, and will mark the return of Rebecca Mader, whom you might remember as anthropologist Charlotte Lewis. She’ll return for one episode in early 2010.
