Eddie Cibrian's Wife Leaves Her Cheating Husband

Brandi Glanville, the wife of D-list Cuban actor Eddie Cibrian, has had suficiente (enough!). Us Weekly broke the news that Glanville—Cibrian's wife of 8 years, and the mother of their two children, Mason, 6 and Jake, 2—is finally leaving her cheating husband months after he was caught creeping with his Northern Lights co-star, country singer LeAnn Rimes.

Glanville, 36, tells Us: "Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart...I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn [Rimes] deserve each other." Ouch!

The magazine also reports in their new issue—out today—that the final straw for Glanville came when her husband and Rimes, 26, were seen out together again on the afternoon of July 17, more than four months after several magazines and newspapers first reported on Crimes' (get it Rimes + Cibrian's) "secret dinner dates" and hotel visits back in March! (They've got some real cojones to make yet another public appearance!). Their meeting last week took place outside the home of Jeff Berger, a longtime friend of Rimes and her husband (yes, she's got a husband) Dean Sheremet (I guess we know who's side Jeff is taking).

In June, after every tabloid on the planet reported the affair, Glanville spoke out against Rimes, calling her a "stalker," and saying she would not leave her and her husband alone. "She refuses to leave us alone—it is shameful and scary," Glanville said. "People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance."

Glanville's outspokenness against Rimes prompted some bloggers to criticize her for being too hard on Rimes, and taking it too easy on her husband. But now it's apparent that she has had enough, and it's about damn time—especially since Rimes isn't the only woman the Cuban hunk has been canoodling with behind her back. Back in March, he was also said to be having an affair with 24-year-old model, Scheana Marie Jancan.

Cibrian's reps released to following statement in response to Gianville's comments: "Apparently the press wishes to continue to play out Eddie
Cibrian's domestic situation publicly with an unfair flair of tabloid
fervor. Eddie is a devoted and loving father first and foremost and the
speed bump he and Brandi are experiencing needs to be worked out
privately for everyone's benefit."

Sure doesn't sound like Gianville is interested in working anything out. So now that Eddie's single (and given his track record, I'm sure looking to mingle too), he'll probably be focusing on his new project.  He'll play a former robbery/homicide detective on CSI: Miami. He's scheduled to appear in the first episode of the new season—in flashback—as someone who crossed paths with several CSI characters back in 1997, including Adam Rodriguez's Delko.

We can all learn a very, very important lesson from Eddie's story: If you're a D-list celebrity, don’t ever, (and I mean, ever) do a Nora Roberts movie for Lifetime—especially if your co-star is a husband-stealing country singer who's kind of loca. Capisce?

But what say you TVians? Should Glanville have stuck around, or was it time to give Eddie the boot? And who should play her in a movie? I'd like to see J-Lo play Brandi in another movie called Enough.
