Wisin & Yandel Release "Gracias A Ti" Video

Wisin & Yandel’s new video for the song “Gracias A Ti” from their album La Revolucion is an ode to listeners. Directed by Jessy Terrero (he also did the MTV-nominated “Abusadora”), the vid follows the Puerto Rican duo from their private plane, aptly named “La Revolucion,” to stages around Latin America. We see them signing autographs, getting mobbed by sobbing fans and hugging wheelchair-bound audience members.

If you listen to the lyrics, the track is also about a determined woman capable of lifting her man and giving his life purpose. And though we applaud her efforts, she is also unfortunately described as “mi princesa sumisa” or “my submissive princess,” who also irons shirts. Hmmm… Thankfully, the video reinterpreted the song for the many listeners who have turned these guys into an international success.

Check it out and let me know what you think.
