Shakira and Rafael Nadal Spark Rumors

The rumor mill has been swirling with tales of Shakira cozying up to tennis star Rafael Nadal in Barcelona recently. “Love match,” hinted the New York Post’s Page Six just a few days ago, reporting that the pair “were whispering and all smiles” while eating dinner at the W Hotel in the Spanish city.

But Nadal’s camp has denied the supposed romance. And it appears that the Colombiana is still very much engaged to long-time boyfriend Antonio de la Rua, and the Spaniard is still dating his former classmate Xisca.

Apparently, Rafa and Shaki are just friends and collaborators. They just finished filming a very sexy video for the song “Gypsy” from the singer’s latest album She Wolf. Advance photos show the pair scantily clad and intertwined. I know they’re merely pals but they do look good together. The video premieres in 10 days. Here’s a teaser:
