Puerto Rican pop star Ricky Martin doesn’t tire. I get exhausted just reading his Twitter page. When the single father of two isn’t working on his upcoming album or penning a book he describes as “cathartic,” he is making the world a safer place for children everywhere through the Ricky Martin Foundation.
The noted activist and Goodwill Ambassador to UNICEF is in New York today for the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Annual Meeting, during which he’ll discuss solutions to end human trafficking and forced labor, issues that affect the lives of more than 25 million people around the globe.
“To participate in such an important forum is a win-win situation for the cause,” said the artist in an official statement. “Wills unite and we promote that action to eradicate this crime is the common goal.”
Watch the seminar live at 2:30 p.m. EST here.
