Premios Juventud: Give it Up for Luis Fonsi and Anahí

Retna Ltd.

I have to admit, I haven’t been following Luis Fonsi’s meteoric rise very closely, but after last night’s Premios Juventud, I’m jumping on the bandwagon. The Puerto Rican balladeer snagged 10 out of the 13 award nominations he received—the most ever in the PJ’s history.  To prove his worth as this year’s “Red Hot Artist” (that was one of the categories), he performed “Llueve por dentro” on a stage that was lit by flames and later rained on for a body hugging wet-shirt song finale that brought out the 13-year-old girl in me. Here it is again, in case you missed it:

Boys, I haven’t forgotten about you. Since it’s Friday and I’m feeling generous, I give you RBD alum Anahí. The smokin’ singer closed out the night with “Mi Delirio,” the first single from her upcoming debut album as a soloist. Not sure if it was her purple mini-dress or the song that left the crowd clamoring for more, so you’ll have to judge for yourself (enjoy!):
