Mariah Becomes a Man

Mariah Carey is currently filming the new video for “Obsessed,” the first single from her forthcoming album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. She’s once again working with her friend Brett Ratner, who directed “Touch My Body” and “We Belong Together.”

According to the New York Daily News, the 39-year-old singer has “channeled her inner man” for the shoot. On Monday, she dressed up like a male bellhop and a male rapper that looks suspiciously like Eminem—fitted baseball cap, hoodie, and baggy sweatpants included. Although Mimi denies the connection (she told People, “I wasn’t playing anyone in particular”), I’m hoping she blasts Slim Shady, who sang about their (alleged) past relationship in the track “Bagpipes from Baghdad.” Can’t wait to see the finished product!
