Care for free music? Of course you do! You wouldn't necessarily know that electro-pop group RH+ is from Chile by listening to their new LP, Quintana Roo (out now via Nacional Records), but their music is firmly rooted in their hometown. "In Santiago, we are lucky to have a very close relationship with both nature and the city at the same time and that inspires our songwriting a lot," says member Pedro Camparini.

Being a fan of densely ambient groups like Stereolab and Air myself, I'm psyched to hear a South American group similarly inspired by dreamscapes and pure melodies, which of course are always best expressed by a sultry female voice (this one comes courtesy of lead singer Ximena "Nera" Muñoz).

Try out the sounds of RH+ with this gratis download of their ambient samba (sambient?) track, "Sambatriste." And let me know what you think!
