It’s Tuesday and the weekend feels oh so far, which means you need a little jolt (and I’m not talking about a shot of caffeine). Enrique Iglesias’s almost pornographic video for his Bruce Springstein cover of “Sad Eyes” has been making the rounds all over the internet. The French describe it as “érotiquement torride” and I agree.

Shot by photographer/director David LaChapelle in 2000, the video was banned from MTV back then for being too racy. It features a pre-mole removal Enrique Iglesias masturbating while watching a phone sex ad on television. Tired of being alone, despite the legions of fans waiting outside his hotel room, he goes out in search of a prostitute only to find the same “sad-eyed” woman from the ad working the street.

The pair head back to his room and splash around in a see-through bathtub before she takes a twirl on Iglesias’s pole. Yes, you read correctly. He has a brass stripper pole jutting out from between his legs. The lady of the night in the video is porn star Cassidey Rae, who, according to an old ew.com article, really enjoyed caressing the singer’s “buff, shiny chest.”
