Good news: Singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz is working on a new album slated for release in mid-November. Even better news: Alicia Keys is collaborating with the Spanish pop star on the track “Looking for Paradise.” She recently Tweeted photos from the Brooklyn set where the single’s video was shot and recorded a video diary sharing her excitement for the upcoming production:

“The song is so beautiful. It’s touching. It’s uplifting. It’s worldwide. It really talks about the way we’re all looking for something and how we can all find it,” she said, wearing tight black jeans and thigh-high white leather boots. “I just love this idea of bringing worlds together. It think that’s what it’s all about,” she added about teaming up with the Spaniard.  

Up to now, Sanz has given us some memorable collabos with artists like Celtic folk band The Corrs (“Me Ire”); Puerto Rican reggaetoneros Calle 13 (“La Peleita”); and Colombian singer Shakira (“Te Lo Agradezco, Pero No”). And since it’s unlikely we’ll see the finished video for “Looking for Paradise” till August, I am hitting replay on “La Tortura,” one of my favorite duets of all time.
