What Goes With Sweat?

I have to admit that I used to think work out clothes were oversized t-shirts and the same comfy shorts I slept in. My pajamas and work out gear even lived on the same shelf in my closet. I knew comfort when exercising was key, but I never thought I could look good, too. This all changed a few short weeks ago. I was attending a Nike Training Summit in Vancouver where I was being educated on the advancements Nike is making in female training gear for Olympic athletes and normal ladies like you and me. At one point, a Maria Sharapova quote was thrown out, "I will play better if I look better." Could this really be true? It made sense, but I wasn't a true beleiver until I put on the Nike gear and endured an intense Olympic-style workout. The clothes I was wearing really did make a difference in my attitude and my performance. I was exhausted, but I still looked pretty darn good.

A couple of my favorite items are the Nike Dri-Fit Be Strong Polyester Women's Training Pants ($60, store.nike.com) and the Nike New Dedication Airborne Women's Long Tank Top ($42, shop.nike.com). The pants are ultra slimming and come with the Dri-Fit technology that actually wicks perspiration away from your body. The long tank is a sports bra tank, which made me feel supported and covered. So, grab some cute gear and you may just find the motivation to get moving that you needed.
