Coat of Many Colors

Some girls have a thing for shoes. Some girls have a thing for purses. I have a thing for coats. I currently have about 40 coats in my fall/winter rotation, and I still seem to buy a few more each year because I just cannot say "no" to a well-designed coat. Wanna know my secret source for classically modern coats that might even be affordable? It's the high-end designer who's also creating cheap collections, which every designer seems to be doing these days. The most recent lust-worthy one is Rachel Roy's, whose exclusive collection for Macy's titled Rachel Rachel Roy debuted in stores nationwide this month. And the coat in the collection I am dying to have is this abstract printed cocoon coat with cropped sleeves and double buttons down the front ($149, macys.com). Looks like I'll need to make some room in my coat closet!
