Let’s Hear It For The Boys!
Men are often left out of “best dressed” lists and I can’t imagine why? I spotted plenty of drool-worthy men on the carpet including Rafael Amaya, Mario Lopez, Jake T. Austin, Diego Boneta, Carlos Gomez, Tony Plana, Carlos Pratts, and honorees Robert Rodriguez, Wilmer Valderrama and David Zayas.
Honorable Mentions: In a category of their own, Ana Ortiz and Melonie Diaz deserve mentions for their stunning ensembles. I can’t decide what I loved more, Ana’s vintage inspired gown or the fact that she took her handsome dad as her date? Her look evoked a classic Hollywood feel but with modern details like her silver belt. The focus of her look was definitely the sparkly cap sleeves so I’m glad that she kept her jewelry at a minimum.
Melonie pleasantly surprised me by selecting this stunning orange gown. The peplum detail and the long slit going up her thigh made this ensemble a winning combination. I hope to see more of this look on her in the future.
