Conquering Fears

For once I decided to step out of my voluptuous women clothing sections to hit up the Macy’s JUNIORS department. I know summer is right around the corner, so I’ve been hitting the gym extra hard and trying not to give in to my cravings! I must admit, it’s pretty tough, but I felt ready enough to test the junior department waters.

I’ve always admired how beautiful the shirts are in the junior department, but because of my weight nothing would ever fit. The fear began when I would see thin people shopping there—I knew there would be nothing for me. So on this day, thanks to my mother raving over how my body is looking better and better, I took her advice and decided to try on one of those cute shirts I quietly craved. The worst that could happen is that it wouldn’t fit, right? I was ready for that disappointment. I tried on the shirt (pictured) and voila! It fit! I paired it with my PZI jeans and a pair of red pumps! And out the door I was, feeling good, looking grown and sexy and ready to conquer the world. Summer, watch out ‘cause here I come!
