I love working out when it doesn’t feel like I’m working out. Do any of you feel this way? To me, the best kind of workout is one that doesn't feel like you're exercising at all. Thank goodness that summer is here and there are so many activities that you can do in order to get your body moving and burn those unwanted calories without feeling like you are in the gym. So, lets skip the gym this week while still shedding calories and having some fun!

How do you find the motivation to exercise, especially when you don't feel like getting off your rump to do so? Oh, believe me, I have had my days when I'm down right tired and I feel as though I'm not in this by myself.

The most important meal that I eat is after my workout! Your muscles are literally starving for nutrition post work out! So, the meal you eat after is very important for building muscle and replenishing your energy. And the meal you eat at this time is the most important for building muscle and replenishing energy sources.
Exercise depletes your amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein and it’s important to have chicken (I don’t eat meat, only fish), fish or eggs after a workout.

When I go to the gym, I really don’t think about my appearance. I definitely make certain to smell fresh and I definitely don’t wear make-up! In a few of my photos you see me looking like a straight tomboy! LOL I usually don’t care because I’m so focused on training. However… do we all agree that if you look cute at the gym, it will motivate you more to work out? If you agree, then I came up with 6 ways to look cute at the gym!

I don’t know about you, but after a long and vigorous workout, I have to spoil myself! I don’t necessarily do the below everyday, but I do find time to get in a little pampering. :)
To me, when I pamper myself it’s a reward! I encourage all of you to drop everything and pamper yourself too! When you work hard, play hard right?!

I’m always being asked: "What is your secret to working out?"
Well, I actually have about 20! However, I am happy to share the six most important ones with you (my favorite chicas!).
Here they are:
1. Don’t be lazy
Try to be active as much as you can! Take the stairs instead of the elevator, walk instead of taking the cab (for you New Yorkers!), park far in the parking lot if you are going grocery shopping or to the mall. Just try to be active, which helps.
