Grinding it Out

Hey! What's up, everyone? I've had a crazy week since I last checked in. The Grammy Awards and All-Star Weekend came back to back. Between tapings of Charm School and events for the Grammy Awards, I feel like I’ve been on the go non-stop.

I was excited to get a little down time when I hung out with my friend Solange Knowles at a party she hosted. It was off the chain—in a good way, of course. (Side note: have you heard Solange's album, SoL-AngeL? Man it's, hot.) I also had the pleasure of meeting Janelle Monae (Bad Boy Artist). She’s super cool and so talented. It was really a fun night!

All-Star weekend was cool, but if you've been to one you've basically been to them all. Melo [Carmelo Anthony] didn't get to play because of his injury, but Kiyan and I were extremely happy to see him! I've been in L.A. for three weeks, so I missed spending time with him.

Charm School is going well. The schedule is absolutely insane, but I've been having so much fun. Some nights I don't even get home until 2 A.M. or 3 A.M. (Can you even understand how tired I am?!) It’s definitely worth it, though, and it will be a great season. I hope you watch it. The girls are a lot of fun, and when you mix such different personalities it can be very interesting to say the least. Ricki Lake is the head mistress, and it’s cool to have her back on TV. (You know you watched The Ricki Lake Show back in the day.)

I go to New Orleans this week and I can't wait. One thing you will come to know about me is that I love to travel. And I plan to have lots more to share as soon as I come back. Until then!
