Party for a Good Cause!

With the MTV VMA’s in full swing this weekend, there are a ton of parties to choose from. But the one I’m going to this Saturday, Sept. 12, in NYC, will support LifeBeat, a non-profit organization that for more than fifteen years has helped to mobilize the talents and resources of the music industry to raise awareness and funds, and to provide support to the AIDS community.

One of my favorite bands, Phoenix, is playing, as are Kid Cudi and DJ Clinton Sparks. Advance tickets are $40. There are limited tickets available at the door, and those are $50. See invite for more details, and learn more about LifeBeat here.
