Flashback Fridays: "On the 6"

When I first heard that abomination of a Jennifer Lopez song that leaked the other day, my thoughts, in order, were: a) This blows. Chunks. B) Why would she be releasing a greatest hits album? On The 6 already exists. It’s great and full of hits. C) Come to think of it, it’s her only good album.

Now I’m not saying there aren’t some memorable, even dance worthy cuts sprinkled throughout her other albums, but if consistency makes for a good album, there hasn’t been much of that lately by way of La Lopez. I welcome any dissidents.

So, in honor of the days when she was musically relevant, here’s the video for “Waiting For Tonight”—the Hex Hector remix. Cause it’s Friday, it’s been a long week, and she never looked hotter.
