David Archuleta Wants to Get You into the Christmas Spirit!

So I’m way too old to listen to Archie, but I came to terms with that a long time ago (right around the time he released “Crush,” his first single). And I’d love to say I’m too cool to listen to Christmas music, but I’d be lying. Every year, I make sure to revamp my carols playlist to make sure it’s ready for Thanksgiving, when the fam gets together. This year, I came across David Archuleta’s Christmas From The Heart, which he released nice and early for the fans.

My favorite has to be “Riu Riu Chiu,” probably because it’s in Spanish! David has already proven he can sound equally angelic (if not more) when singing en español. In case you missed him at the ALMA’s this year singing “Contigo En La Distancia,” here’s a clip. Doesn’t he just make you wanna cry?

I love "Christmas from the Heart". Probably the best Christmas album I have ever listened to. And, thank you Latina.com and Angie Romero for supporting David. It makes me very happy to see that my Latino community is embracing the talented and extraordinary David Archuleta. Muchisimas gracias!

Oh my goodness..."Christmas From the Heart" is like no other Christmas music I've ever heard! Each and every song has moments that just take your breath away..my favorites being "Ave Maria" and "Pat A Pan"...David's heart & soul went into this album and it is evident in each beautiful song...thank you, David! His performance of "Contigo en la Distancia" at the Alma Award show was unforgettable! I saved it on my DVR and play it back often...stunning...mesmerizing..a truly remarkable talent!

Christmas From The Heart is EPIC! David can sing anything and his music is for everyone! He is an AWESOME talent :) LUV Riu Riu Chiu and Pat a Pan and the song he wrote-Melodies of Christmas!

There's no age factor when it comes to Christmas music as long as they are sung by talented artists such as David Archuleta! Check out his Christmas album. It is very good! Especially Ave Maria, and Pat-a-Pan!

Oh my heck, he also has mentioned do an album in Spanish one day. I will be looking forward to that one for sure "-) Love his Christmas from the ♥ Album and his rendition of Contigo en la Distancia. bellamente cantado

David's Christmas from the Heart is the best Christmas album i've heard. Riu Riu Chiu is also one of my favorites of the album. I just love how David sounds singing in spanish. Also really love Pat a Pan and Ave Maria. Thank you for the review and for the Contigo en la Distancia clip. Beautiful.

I think one is never too old for Christmas carols and especially if they are sung with such eloquence as David Archuleta puts into them. And, yes, his performance of Contigo en la distancia was beautiful! He's been stepping up with the espanol lately, hasn't he?
