I’ve been dating this guy from work for some time now. We have been out in five dates … and nada. He has not made a pass at me. No kissing, no hugging, no anything. When we go out, he pays for everything and at work we e-mail each other all day long. He just asked me to accompany him to a wedding, and all my amigas say that a guy wouldn’t take you to a wedding unless he’s serious about you. But I wonder what’s the deal … Does he like me or not?

Well, I’d say he obviously enjoys your company and therefore must “like” you. You must consider that maybe he just wants a friend. Or perhaps he’s the old-fashioned type, waiting to get to know you better before moving to the next level. He sounds kind of sweet to me. You, however, sound like you just want him to pounce. You don’t even say whether you like him or not. If pouncing is all you are interested in, why don’t you make the first move? Who knows what surprises may be waiting in the wings …
