Dolores dice..."L" is for Loser

Dear Dolores:

I have been with my boyfriend for eight years. He’s 27 years old and everything you could want in a guy, except that he’s a definite mama’s boy. We have been talking about getting married, and he was supposed to be saving to buy the ring. Not too long ago, he bought an expensive sports car, which his mother cosigned for without my knowing about it, but he can’t afford to pay for the car, and his mother wants to be in charge of his bank account to keep him up-to-date. He also stopped going to school to get his degree in computer science and is now working full-time at the same retail store he has been working in since he was 17. Recently he told me the ring money was gone. I asked him to leave my house and have not talked to him since. What should I do?
