Ay m’ija, you cannot "make" anyone fall in love with you, especially after having fallen out of love with you. We all wish Love Potion No.9 were available at the drugstore or that the candles and amulets sold at the botanica would actually work, but it's just not the case. And supposing they did. Wouldn’t you feel like a fake?

Falling in love is unexplainable, unexpected, fortuitous, accidental. Stop staring at the phone and go out and take a walk—meet new people, do different things. Maybe you will find a new love and stop trying to hang on to one that has passed.
